ABOUT STACY MITCHHART:

Stacy Mitchhart is a renowned blues guitarist and vocalist based in Nashville, Tennessee. His
music is a unique blend of traditional blues, funk, and soul, and he has been praised for his
soulful vocals and fiery guitar playing.

Stacy Mitchhart’s musical journey began in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was exposed to jazz
guitar masters like Wes Montgomery and Johnny Smith on the stereo. Influenced by musicians
such as Bobby “Blue” Bland and B.B. King, Mitchhart developed his own brand of showmanship
and became a bandleader, recording his first album, Blues Transfusion, in 1993. Since then, he
has recorded a dozen more albums, including “Grown Ass Man” and “Live from B.B. King’s”,
which were critically acclaimed.

Mitchhart’s performances are known for their energy, and he has played in various settings,
from sold-out arenas to intimate clubs. He has shared the stage with a wide variety of
musicians, including Bobby “Blue” Bland, Keb’ Mo’, James Brown, and Buddy Guy.

He won the Albert King Guitar Player Award at the International Blues Competition and has
received multiple awards from the Music City Blues Society, including for vocalist, guitarist,
band, and entertainer. He was also inducted into the Canada South Blues Hall of Fame.

Mitchhart has played at numerous festivals across the world, including the Edinburgh Jazz &
Blues Fest, Southside Shuffle, Kalamazoo Blues Festival, and Kings Biscuit Festival, among
others.

His projects “Grown Ass Man” and “Live from BB Kings” both debut in top 5 billboard blues
charts. “I’m A Good Man” charted in the Southern Soul Chart and the Beach Music Radio Chart,
while Midnight Breeze was awarded #1 Blues CD of the year by the Music City Blues Society and
What I Feel was awarded #1 Blues CD of 2001 by the New York Blues Society.

Mitchhart’s new album, “Live my Life”, was released in April on all streaming services. Stacy in
pre-production with new music and excited about future collaborations within the studio
preparing new music with Kenny Neal, Larry McCray, Bernard Allison, Charlie Musselwhite and
Gretchen Wilson.
With nearly three decades of experience performing around the world, Mitchhart’s name is still
synonymous with “blues and soul” and his sound remains unique.
Today, Stacy continues to perform regularly, both as a solo artist and with his band, The Stacy
Mitchhart Band. He is a sought-after performer at blues festivals and clubs across the country
and is widely recognized as one of the premier blues guitarists of his generation.
